TMD/TMJ (Jaw Joint Problems)
The Jaw Joint is one of the most complicated joints in the body. The proper alignment and workings of this joint (TMJ or Temporomandibular Joint) is critical. THe improper functioning of this joint is called TMD (Temporomandibular Dysfunction). A great deal of education and training is necessary to properly diagnose and treat TMD disorders. Treatments for this are as vast and varied as the disorders themselves.
